Welcome to Camp Brookwoods, Families!
When Dr. Laurence Andreson and his wife Dagmar (Duggie) first purchased 110 acres of land on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, it is hard to imagine that they could have anticipated the long-term impact their investment would have on future generations.
Seventy-five years later, over 200,000 individuals have been directly impacted through summer programs at Camp Brookwoods, Deer Run, and Moose River Outpost, in addition to multitudes of conferences and retreats.
Here at camp, our aim has always been to foster vibrant Christian communities located in awe-inspiring outdoor settings where young people are spiritually transformed through Christ-centered relationships. As we look forward, our mission is more critical now than ever before. In a culture that is filled with conflicting philosophies, we believe that the historic Christian faith reflects the truth. We desire for Camp Brookwoods to be a place where young men and women encounter Jesus in a real and tangible way, grow in their understanding of a Christian worldview, and gain life skills that will help them flourish in any community.
