This online application will take a few minutes to fill out. At the end of the form you will submit the application to us and you will receive a confirmation email.
Please be frank and honest in completing each blank. We will get back to you for any additional questions or to schedule an interview.
The form WILL ask you for three references; Teacher (If you are in school, or else someone who can tell us you are smart); Pastor (someone who can tell us about your spiritual life); Friend (someone who can tell us you are fun and would be a great staff member). Have these e-mails addresses ready to go as a reference form will be automatically sent to your references when you submit this application. It also MIGHT be a good idea to let your references KNOW they will be getting an e-mail from us at camp; that not only is the polite thing do but they will then be watching for it so they won’t “trash”” it or put it into the “junk” file of their email program.
Mark the activity areas that you have experience or the ability to teach
Expiration Dates where applicable
Please list three professional people (including your pastor if applying for a summer position, no relatives) who are familiar with your character and qualifiations. We may contact these people. Your submission of this form is your authorization for release of information by them. The references you list will be sent an email inviting them to fill out a reference form for you.
We desire that our camps have a distinctly Christian atmosphere and influence. Though campers come from many religious backgrounds, all are included in chapel services, grace before meals, Bible studies, etc. Staff members participate in leading campers in these Christian nurture functions and are expected to live exemplary Christian lives. In applying for a staff position, you subscribe to high moral, ethical, and spiritual goals, and give assurance that you will try to lead campers and other staff to practice real faith themselves. To help us better understand your feelings about our Christian approach to camping, please answer the following questions in your own words.
