Man Camp is coming!

Another year is flying by and the winter is moving on as quickly as it came. Before you know it, the snow and ice will be a mere memory, the flowers will be blooming, and the summer will be upon us.

There is a lot to do in order to prepare for this upcoming summer at Brookwoods and Deer Run.  We need your help to do so! Let’s start this summer off the best and most manly way possible in order to pave the way for this big year so we can ensure that our campers have their best summer yet! Save the date, spread the word, and join the herd on May 13th to 15th  for Man Camp 2022.

This no cost event is open to men and their sons, 12 years of age and older, to both help create some new man sized memories and to help camp get ready for the upcoming season.

Mike Brigham is modeling the exclusive 2022 Man Camp Shirt which will be given to those attending.

You can come up for the weekend or just for the day.  Jon Cooper, our great Food Service Director, will be serving some yummy meals starting on Friday night through Sunday lunch, including our traditional Saturday Night Ribs dinner!  Scroll down to the bottom of this page to register.

Theme for Man Camp: Culture has emasculated men and stripped them of their God given purpose. Our families, work places, and world are paying the price. God has a clear, bold and compelling vision of manhood for today. We’ll explore how God’s calling can rebuild what has been stolen from us to become men who are relevant, impacting every sphere of influence we touch.

Our guest speaker for the weekend is Marc Swenson.

Pastor Marc Swenson

Marc loves to see people come alive in their faith in Christ in order to make a difference in the world. It was God’s calling and this passion that led him to vocational ministry in 2000 and inspires him today. In 2006, Marc and his wife Ruth moved to NH, where he currently serves as one of the pastors at the First Congregational Church of Ossipee. The Swensons have four children, Hannah, Noah, Willow and Asher. In their free time they love to hike together, do projects around the home, spend time near the water and enjoy God’s great outdoors.

Please contact Bob Rathbun, our Facility Director, to ask questions or to indicate any specialty skill sets you have as well as any tools that you can bring!
