Spring Man Camp 2024
Written By: Al Latario, Conference Staff
Brookwoods May 3rd – 5th
Spring is slowly coming and the ice on shore line of Lake Winnipesaukee is nearly gone. For the gentlemen of Brookwoods that means one thing: Man Camp is back!
Whether you’re camp alumni, former staff, or current campers eager to return to your home on the lake, you are invited to join us in a weekend of fellowship in which we will worship together and work to prepare camp for another summer. Join us on the first weekend in May, 3rd-5th. As always, housing and meals are free; you only need to bring bedding for your bunk. In addition to preparing our activity areas for summer use, we have demand for the usual grounds keeping projects of path clearing and spreading mulch. We also have a special need for wood splitters this year given the number of trees felled to make room for The Fieldhouse. Be ready to get your hands dirty…and maybe bring a pair of your own work gloves!
If you’ve benefited from the ministry of camp and want to give back with the gift of your time and labor, or if you just want more of Jon’s cooking (totally respectable), let us know by filling out the online registration. Please make sure you include your t-shirt size for another addition to your collection of camp merch. We ask that participants be 10 years of age or older.
Our very own Marcus LeTexier will be leading us in our devotional and worship time. Marcus’s first summer at Brookwoods was 2019 and he currently serving on our Conference Team. He’s a graduate from Columbia International University (Columbia, SC). The last couple of summers he’s worked with our Leadership Development Program. We know you are going to enjoy what he has to share with us.
There is no better way to enjoy the goodness of the Lord, than joining side by side with your fellow believers in a community committed to sharing the gospel with the children of God.
We hope to see you in May!
