Your Gifts Change Lives
We are so very grateful for the opportunity we had to host campers this past summer. What a privilege it was to see our campers coming through the gates at Camp Brookwoods and Deer Run and down the drive at Moose River Outpost. Summer 2021 was truly “the summer we needed” to get back on track. We’ve said it before, but we could NOT have met the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic without the prayers, encouragement, and financial support of the camp family. Thank you!
Now, as we look forward to a time that feels more “normal,” we still need your help to keep the ministry strong. Your gifts mean that we can continue to share the love of Jesus with campers, staff, and their families.
"100 New in 2022"
You can help Camp receive a $100,000 gift! Right now, we have a special incentive for those of you who become regular monthly donors. Here’s how it works:
A generous camp family has pledged to donate $1,000 for each new member of the Campfire Circle monthly donor program—up to 100 new monthly donors! That’s potentially an additional $100,000 for camp!
Our motto for meeting this goal is: “100 New in 2022!” A recurring monthly gift is a blessing to camp as it allows us to budget confidently and evens out our cash flow. Our participating donors appreciate this option as it is convenient and automatic. (Credit Card or EFT). If you are interested, we request that you join the Campfire Circle with a minimum gift of $15/mo. Please email Ann@christiancamps with any questions.

Giving Incentives Extended for 2021
Extension of Benefits Under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (CAA)*:
- For those who itemize their deductions, the charitable contribution limitation has been extended for 2021. The limitation for cash contributions, formerly set at 60%, has now been raised to 100% of an individual’s adjusted gross income (AGI). This means donors who contribute cash to a public charity, such as Christian Camps and Conferences, Inc., and who itemize their deductions can now give more before reaching their AGI limitation. In addition, any giving beyond the 100% AGI limitation may be carried over and used in the next five years, but the enhanced deduction expires after 2021.
- For those who don’t itemize their deductions, the CARES Act extension also expanded above-the-line charitable deductions. Individuals are allowed To claim up to $300 of their charitable contributions as an above-the-line deduction. Married couples who file jointly can claim up to $600 as a deduction.
*Please consult your tax professional for how these regulations might specifically affect you and your charitable goals.
