Our Fall Project: Man Camp
Fall Project Man Camp
The weekend of October 21st – 23rd will be a Fall Project Man Camp at Brookwoods and Deer Run in New Hampshire. Each participant will be involved in some important work projects around camp to help prepare camp for the winter and for next summer! In addition to the projects, we will also enjoy some daily devotionals, and plenty of great food from Jon!
Housing for the event will be in the Ranger Cabin, our newest building, which has a great front porch looking out over the lake and contains two “dorm” style rooms and a meeting room on the first floor.
There is no cost for this event…if you come help us with some projects and we will feed you! We do ask that you provide a sleeping bag or linens for your stay at Ranger.
You can make this a Father-Son experience, if you like, and we suggest it as a 12 and older experience. We will have some projects for everyone to accomplish. Projects we anticipate include: rebuilding the Chapel stage, splitting winter firewood, painting some trim on buildings, and preparing the grounds for the winter.
Due to the limited housing available, we encourage you to sign up soon. Please do so using this form. If you want to come up only for a day, we will also welcome the assistance…sign up as well so we know how much food to prepare.
