The WILD Program
The Wilderness Intensive Leadership Development program uses the rugged and beautiful Maine wilderness to strengthen young leaders as they learn to walk with the Lord. While attending the WILD program you will be immersed in God’s creation and will know it (and its Creator) more intimately than you ever have before. WILD is an eight-week course that is spread out over two consecutive summers. Outdoor living skills, personal devotions, Scripture memory, adventure hard skills, group dynamics, and community development are all part of the training that a WILD student will receive. WILD acts as a development program for the Moose River Outpost staff and the completion of the training is a wonderful addition to a resume or college application.
