Looking Forward
To say that Moose River Outpost is a growing ministry would be a dramatic understatement. Last year our summer camp attendance grew by 30%. This would seem a large number if not for the fact that our other ministry efforts grew by a over 100%! God has blessed Moose River Outpost richly, and our desire is simply to continue in His will: Encouraging everyone who steps on our property to draw closer to God, to join others in following him, and to find opportunities for both of those things in their adventures at MRO.
Due to our exciting growth, we project that Moose River Outpost will soon need to construct more cabins and other living spaces to meet our housing needs. This process could even begin as soon as 2010. Other projects are already under way. Each year we make improvements to our property as well as our camp program. Recent years have seen small upgrades to equipment and training methods, as well as more significant ones such as the construction of a new archery field, and preparations for a full size soccer field on property.
