Bob Strodel, Executive Director and Debbie Strodel, Bookkeeper
Bob is a second generation Camp Director and attended Brookwoods as a camper when growing up. He met Debbie when they were on staff at another Christian camp, and they celebrated their 30 year anniversary this year. In 2010 Bob will be marking his 33rd summer at Brookwoods and 16 years as the Executive Director! Bob and Debbie have two children, Gordon and Meagan, who have come up through the program at Brookwoods and
Deer Run.
George Bowling, Conference Center Director
Close to 7000 conference guest come through Brookwoods each year from September to May. George is the person who makes it happen with a smile on his face and a willing heart. During the summer George supervises a large Tripping Staff that will take each cabin on an overnight hike or canoe experience every two weeks at camp. George's personal outdoor skills are legendary; he can even start a fire in the rain with a bag of Doritos! George's wife, Mary Beth, directs Camp Deer Run for girls. Their daughters, Tennessee and Savannah enjoy attending Deer Run.

Craig grew up at Brookwoods and Deerfoot Lodge in NY, and served on the staff at Deerfoot while he was attending Wheaton College, near Chicago. Not only did he get his degree at Wheaton, but he also met his wife Michelle. Craig is responsible for running all the aspects of our Maine operations including the summer adventure camp, Moose River Outpost Outdoor Adventure Center and Windfall Rafting.
