Winter Activities

Many of New Hampshire’s finest downhill ski areas are located within 60 miles of Brookwoods, with the closest (Gunstock) only a 25 minute drive away. If you have interest in downhill skiing, please contact us for more information.
Snow tubing is especially popular with the younger groups! Our tubing hill is located immediately behind Deer Run Lodge.
Cross country skiing is available in the adjacent town of Wolfeboro for a nominal charge.
Snow volleyball is an option on our volleyball court, adjacent to the Dining Hall.
Broom hockey is a crowd favorite!
