FAQs

Do I need to bring bedding?

If you are staying in one of our cabins you will need to bring your own bedding and toiletries. If you are staying in one of our private rooms, linens are provided.

Are there bathrooms and showers?

Each cabin has at least two showers, toilets and sinks.

How many people can sleep in a cabin?

In general, our cabins sleep about 16 people on bunks. It varies from cabin to cabin so please refer to the description of each cabin, located here.

Can I drive my car?

Yes, we have parking lots for your use.. However, if your group is large, we encourage you to car pool as space is limited.

When are meals served?

The meal times are generally 8:00, 12:30 and 5:30, but these can be changed to meet your group’s needs.

What is the cost?

The cost of having your group here at Brookwoods is very competitive. The actual cost depends on the number of meals served and the number of nights you are staying. Please contact our conference director to discuss details at 603-875-3600 or by e-mail at george@christiancamps.net.

How many people can I bring?

We regularly accommodate groups as large as 300.  Depending on the time of year, we may be able to accommodate even larger groups.  Please contact our conference director for more details.

I left something at Brookwoods, do you have a lost and found?

After each retreat is finished our facilities and housekeeping staff clean all the areas and bring lost and found to our main office. This process takes about 2 days. If you think you left an item, please call us at 603-875-3600 and we will look through our lost and found.

Are there snacks at night?

We provide light snacks each evening for your group which are brought to your main meeting area. Additionally, coffee and tea are always available in the dining hall.

What audio or other sound equipment do you have?

We have the following PA equipment that your group can use.

How accessible are your facilities?

Brookwoods Conference Center has well maintained gravel roads and paths that connect cabins to meeting areas and the dining hall. There are wheelchair ramps into the main meeting areas. We make every effort to make our facilities as accessible as possible in keeping with the rugged outdoor nature of our camp. Please contact us for specific ways we can help meet your accessibility needs.

I have a food allergies/special diet; will I be able to eat in the dining hall?

Yes, we can accommodate many of the common food allergies of our guests. Communication with our food service director and conference director is imperative so that meals can be kept safe.

What activities can our group do at Brookwoods?

Your group has a great number of activity options at Brookwoods, many of which vary with the seasons. Our sports fields can be used for soccer, football, baseball, ultimate Frisbee, etc. Our waterfront is open for swimming, waterskiing, tubing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing. In the winter, Gunstock ski area is 20 minutes away. We have snowshoeing equipment to explore the many trails around camp. We also offer high and low ropes courses during the Fall if prior arrangements are made. The White Mountains are within an hour and we have many hiking trails onsite.
